Dublin Veterinary Physiotherapy uses a variety of manual therapies in order to reduce tightness, increase suppleness, reduce pain and increase performance.
Dublin Veterinary Physiotherapy provides a range of electrotherapy services such as Laser, Short Wave Ultrasound, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, TENS, NMES, Heat and Cold therapy.
Prescribed remedial exercise implementation allows for a progression and increase in performance, due to an increase in strength, balance and proprioception.
1 hour – 90 minutes
This will involve a full static and dynamic assessment of your dog, including spinal, neurological and range of motion assessments. Following this, treatments will be carried out using manual techniques, electrotherapy treatment and remedial exercise. A rehabilitation plan is issued to you after the consultation, in order to allow your dog to progress at home.
45 minutes – 1 hour
Following your pets initial assessment and treatment, any subsequent treatments (for the same condition) will be at a reduced rate. These sessions will still include a full assessment and physiotherapy treatments.
This appointment type is for patients who only require a session of electrotherapy, e.g. laser application.
Physiotherapy may be covered by your pet insurance policy. Contact us to find out more!
*Please note, an additional charge of €0.50 per km will apply for call-outs beyond 20km of Dublin 13
Hannah came out to visit our Greyhound Henry after his arthritis flared up. After his treatment and follow up plan, he seemed much happier and in less pain. It has been great to see such an improvement!
